Annual boiler servicing is a wise precaution, we can ensure that your current system is operating to peak performance, ensure against Carbon Monoxide leaks and prolong its lifespan. Regular maintenance can also help prevent a system breakdown which can be expensive and never welcome.

Gas & Safety Certificate

Paynes Heating & Plumbing Services Ltd takes gas safety seriously. All of our engineers are on the Gas Safe Register and will have their official identity card when you ask to see it.

Gas Safe Register is the official gas safety organisation in Great Britain. It replaced CORGI on 1st April 2009. Gas Safe Register is responsible for the registration and regulation of gas engineers. Membership is mandatory for any company or engineer working with gas appliances.

System Cleaning

Cleaning your system clears out the sludge and internal debris that builds up inside your system over time, clogging up pipes and radiators, and causing significant damage if it manages to reach the internal workings of the boiler itself.

We do this with a Power Flush, which forces water and special chemicals through your system at high pressure to drive out the sludge and debris.

System cleaning allows your boiler to work more efficiently, your radiators to stay hotter, prevents potentially expensive damage, extends the life of your whole system, and reduces your fuel bills.

How Breakdown Insurance works:

If your central heating breaks down, simply contact Paynes on
01825 891720. The bill is settled directly on your behalf.

Claim limits:
The total claim limit in any one year is £750.00. Anything over this will be chargeable.
Renewable Cover:
We have made it easy for you to continue your protection for as long as you wish. After the initial period has expired you can renew the cover annually.
Geographical limits:
You can apply for Heatcare provided you are a resident in the UK.

Heatcare breakdown and service insaurance is a preventative maintenance scheme, the best method of reducing risks, hence an annual boiler service & inspection is included, so you can rest assured you appliance is working as safely and efficiently as possible.

You depend on your central heating boiler to heat your home and serve you and your family constant hot water. The loss of this necessity will make a large dent in any family budget, calling out an engineer can cost in excess of £100.00 and the final repair bill could exceed £250.00. Even the most reliable product can go wrong - which is why it is sold with a manufacturer's guarantee.

Is it possible to avoid the expense and inconvenience of unforeseen breakdowns? Cover

Boiler and controls only: For conventional central heating boilers (up to 150,000BTU):

All boiler components as supplied by the boiler manufacturer and fitted within the boiler casing. Plus the water circulating pump, cylinder thermostat, time control (excluding energy management systems), room thermostats, motorised valve(s) and associated normal working hour’s labour charges.

Boiler, controls and system cover:

As per the diagram plus easily accessible above ground pipework, radiators, radiator valves (manual and thermostatic), standard indirect cylinder (maximum capacity 140 litres) and expansion tank.

Cooling off period: if for any reason you wish to cancel your certificate within the first 30 days following issue, we will arrange to provide a full refund without deduction provided you surrender your certificate and have not made any claims.

Incentives

While every call for our services is treated as a priority, we recognise that our regular customers do deserve that extra level of commitment from us. So, we have introduced our loyalty card scheme to ensure we reward customers that realised the importance regular boiler servicing. Our three levels of priority membership are as follows:

For customers who have had their boilers serviced by us for the first time, or have missed a years’ servicing

For customers who return to us and have their boiler serviced for a second year in a row. This will also entitle you to a 5% reduction in prices (within the following year) for any other work we carry out.

A priority card for customers who have had their boiler serviced by us at least 3 years in succession. As one of our most loyal customers this card will entitle you to a 10% reduction in prices (within a year) for any other work carried out.
